Our Story
Lenslobby can be called a second generation business as it is founded by a son of a businessman who has been in the industry for 33 years since he was 16 years old. It all started with my father. He as a child used to suffer from myopia and had very high power and at that time technology had not peaked and people were narrow minded so people used to tease him by calling him kandil.
Now one day he went to a local eyewear shop , at that time there were only 2 eyewear shops in the town and both the shop owners were very rude. So he went to them at the age of 15 and gave them an order for new specs and they said it will take 7 days to make it, so after 7 days he again visited the shop to collect the specs but while collecting he noticed that the frame was missing a screw so he asked the shop keeper to repair it to which the shop keeper very rudely replied to come after 4 days. Again my father visited the shop after 4 days and asked for the specs, Now here is a shocking part the shop keeper had kept the new specs in the dustbin which he pulled out of it in front of my father still unrepaired, which he repaired it in 2 mins and gave it to my father which he could have done the first time my father visited the shop to collect the specs. This incident lead my father to enter eyewear industry and prevent others from facing similar problems he faced.
As for me I love specs , the way they are made , the look they give us , their colors. I am obsessed with this product and industry, that’s why I decided to found LensLobby with an aim to truly add value in customers lives by eliminating the retailers, setting up our own high quality manufacturing and supplying directly to the consumer. With this, we not only cuts costs, but also delivered high quality standards, supported with in house robotic lens manufacturing and assembly ensuring 100% precision and top quality control.
